Clinical Canine Massage

Results you can see and your dog can feel

What is Clinical Canine Massage?

This unique, strong, manipulative clinical massage for dogs works by releasing tight, sore muscles, and removing debilitating ‘Knots’ or Trigger Points that cause referred pain. It also helps to rehabilitate injuries by breaking down restrictive scar tissue caused by daily activities that may be responsible for your dog’s discomfort.

Clinical canine massage can help to resolve many day-to-day mobility issues and helps support orthopaedic conditions like Arthritis and Hip Dysplasia with tangible results. Massage is also a natural form of pain relief and can help to resolve soft tissue or muscular problems. Getting your dog therapeutically treated with an hour of hands-on therapy by a Member of the Canine Massage Guild is a must for any dog owner concerned with their dog’s mobility and health.

What to expect during treatment?

Your dog will receive an in-depth consultation prior to treatment which will include a gait and posture analysis and a full muscular health check to help formulate an individual treatment plan to suit their needs. Following treatment, clients will be given advice on aftercare. Initial consultation £45. Follow-up treatments £40. We aim to give your dog results in just 1-3 sessions. Veterinary Referral

Prior to treatment, clients will need to obtain written consent from their vet in accordance with The Veterinary Surgery (Exemptions) Order 2015, which stipulates that manipulative therapies such as chiropractic, physiotherapy or massage therapies can only be carried out under the direction and referral of a vet. This ensures that we have all the necessary information regarding your dog’s medical history prior to treatment. A full Veterinary Report will be completed and forwarded to your vet following treatment.
